God Is Bringing a New Season.

We often spend so much time looking backward, weighed down by old memories, past limitations, or former defeats. But in my own walk, I’ve learned that God is always speaking a fresh word into our future. Through Isaiah, He gently reminds us to forget the former things and stop dwelling on the past, because He is doing something entirely new—making a road through the desert and rivers in the wasteland.

The hardest part of stepping into a promised future isn't God's willingness to give it; it’s our ability to actually see it. Many of us accept God’s promises intellectually, yet we secretly keep living inside our old boundaries. Just like Abraham had to look in every direction and claim the land as far as his eyes could see, faith requires us to stretch our vision beyond our current circumstances. It means letting go of the negative patterns, mindsets, and limitations that confine us to a small valley.

God is never about mere imitation or repeating the past; His plans for our lives and ministries are original, creative, and expansive. When He calls us to enlarge our tents and lengthen our ropes, He is preparing us for a season of growth and boundary expansion. I want to encourage you today: stop measuring your future by your past mistakes or desert seasons. Lift your eyes, embrace His fresh vision, and dare to trust Him for the incredible new paths He is carving out for you.
