The Test of Wealth

We spend so much time praying for breakthroughs, financial provision, and open doors. But I have realized that handling success is often a much harder spiritual test than surviving a season of lack. A full cup is incredibly heavy, and it takes deep maturity to carry it without stumbling.

When God begins to pour out His favor, the temptation is to immediately raise our standard of living, skip our Sabbath rest, or let our prayer life slowly fade. But look at David and Joseph. They carried immense wealth and authority, yet they anchored themselves in humility, forgiveness, and dedicated worship. Their inward character grew to match their outward influence.

When we experience sudden growth or financial blessing, God is looking at how we manage that trust. Instead of simply upgrading our personal lifestyle, He invites us to upgrade our giving and our investment in His kingdom. I want to encourage you: as God elevates your life, let your spiritual roots grow deeper. Protect your day of rest, forgive those who hurt you, and stay on your knees. Let humility be the foundation that keeps you steady in His grace.
