The Cure for Anxiety.
Anxiety touches every life, but peace is not something we have to create on our own.
Breaking the Cycle of Anxiety
Anxiety is a quiet struggle that affects everyone. It reaches into families, touches children, and weighs heavily on leaders. The world around us accepts chronic worry as a normal part of life, and we often think peace is a difficult emotion we must somehow produce by ourselves.
Based on Isaiah 53:5, peace is a definitive right purchased for believers by the sacrifice of Jesus. True rest is found in the presence of the Prince of Peace, who offers a real refuge when fear and uncertainty set in.
Because we live in a broken world, anxious thoughts will naturally come. The danger happens when we allow those thoughts to take root. Worry quickly magnifies our problems, distorts reality, and opens the door to despair.
The way to break this cycle is a deliberate shift from worry to worship, turning our attention back to the sovereignty of God.
The Apostle Paul gives us a practical way to do this in Philippians 4. Before taking our complaints to other people, we can bring our concerns directly to God. When we pair our prayers with intentional thanksgiving, our hearts shift from fear to active faith. Meditating on what is true, pure, and praiseworthy stops negative thinking and invites a supernatural peace to guard our minds.

Why is Fasting important?
