How to Walk in Greater Power?
Discover why true spiritual power and lasting fruitfulness must always begin with quiet intimacy in God's presence.
We often desire the spiritual authority to do great things for God. Yet, we sometimes overlook the quiet discipline required to walk in that anointing. In Mark chapter three, Jesus chose His disciples for one primary reason: to simply be with Him. Long before He sent them out to preach or heal the sick, He called them into a close, personal relationship.
Our first ministry is never what we do for God, but our time spent in His presence. Just as a dry chickpea transforms and grows when soaked in water, our lives are enlarged when we continually soak in the presence of Jesus. Visiting God for a few hurried minutes is very different from remaining connected to Him throughout our daily routines. When we prioritize intimacy over endless activity, our natural limitations give way to spiritual boldness and lasting fruit.
If you feel exhausted from relying on your own human effort, learn how waiting on the Lord can give you the capacity to rise above your weariness and walk in renewed strength.
